Eligibility Criteria for Join Pakistan Army as a Soldier in 2025
Educational Requirements:
- Soldier (Sipahi): Minimum Matric (10th grade) required.
- Military Police: Minimum Matric required.
- Clerk: Minimum Intermediate (FA/FSc), with a preference for candidates having computer skills.
- Cook: Minimum Middle (8th grade) pass.
- Sanitary Worker: No formal education is required; however, preference will be given to experienced candidates.
Age Limit:
- For soldiers and military police, the age limit is 17.5 years to 23 years as of October 10, 2025.
- For clerk and cook, the age limit is 17.5 years to 35 years.
- For sanitary workers, the age limit is 17.5 years to 35 years.
- For candidates with higher qualifications such as BA/BSc, a 1-year age relaxation is provided.
- For sons of martyred (Shuhada) soldiers, there is further age relaxation as per the policy.
Height Requirements:
- Soldier (General Duty): Minimum height 5 feet 6 inches (167.5 cm)
- Military Police: Minimum height 5 feet 8 inches (173 cm)
- Clerk and Cook: Minimum height 5 feet 3 inches (160 cm)
- Sanitary Worker: Flexible requirements as per fitness standards
